Rotary Club of Palava installation ceremony was held at Casa Rio, Palava.

Chief Guest for the event Rotary District Governor - 3142 Rtn. Kailash Jethani has installed the new President Rtn. Kishore Bhupati, Club Secretary Sandeep Hotkar and Treasurer Shaji Pillai and BoD for the FAB year 2022-23.District Training Facilitator Rtn. Srijit Poothen has inducted new members with Rotary Oath.

Speaking on this occasion Chief Guest has emphasised on expanding the club horizon and to do bigger community service projects.

President Rotarian Kishore Bhupati has appreciated the Immediate Past President Rotarian Ankit Kankane for the community & Service projects done during the year 2021-22 and mentioned that in current year 2022-23 the Palava Rotary Club is planning to do more projects around Palava in Nilaje, Antarli Ghesar, Hedutane and other with more beneficiaries getting benefited with the Rotary Community Projects.Club has done Medical Projects by the Rotary Members Dr. Aafreen and Dr. Aarti Shinde.

Further he has highlighted that there is good support from the Palava Residents in Mega Saree donation project of 2022 Saree to the needy, initiated by Vice President Rtn. Rahul Srivastav.

Also the Rotary Palava club is planning to start Rotary Interact Club for the age group of 12-18 years under the guidance of Club Secretary Rtn. Sandeep Hotkar and an Rotarct Club for age group of 18-30 by the Past President Rtn. Sadanand Putta.

Current year Service Director Rtn. Vairavan Thangavelu has mentioned that this year the club is planning mega donation drives and also help Transgender community.

FAB Project committee chair Rtn. Kailas Girase has mentioned that there is good response from the Palava Runners Group and residents for the initiative of Digiwalkthon of converting footsteps and workout to donations and Palava Club has done so far good contribution with the help from them. Rotary Ann Bejoytha was facilitated for leading in the women from Palava League.

Past President and current year Public Relations Director Rtn. Om Prakash has highlighted on the active social media engagement the Palava Rotary Club is doing to engage more and more residents in community service.

Rotary Palava also planning to do Global and District Projects under the strong leadership of Rotary Palava TRF Director and Past President Rtn. Manoj Pawar.

The event was attended by Rotary District Team, Co Presidents from other clubs, Rotary Palava family members and guests.
